Acha is a Tempranillo dominated red wine blend made of 70% Tempranillo, 12% Grenache, 9% Carignan, 5% Graciano, and 4% Petit Sirah. Black/purple in color, aromas are of black roasted fruits, cassis, sun baked rocks with hints of soy, and caramelized orange. The mouth is huge, full of sweet ripe cherries supported by very present, yet soft tannins leading the path to a long pleasant finish. The 2009 Acha will drink well over the next 15 years.
